Well, it took a while but I was able to finally finish Smallville. I finished well before the Series Finale which was what I was shooting for so go me I spent the next few months catching up on new shows and watching the 3rd iteration of what I think is my favorite SciFi (SyFy is too dumb for me to use) show of all time: Stargate. In the same week, 2 of my favorite tv shows aired their series finale (Smallvile and Stargate) so I was forced to fill the quality tv void with crap until the summer shows started up. Skip ahead 2 months and we finally stop tailgating Netflix from Christy and get our own account. I realized today that Netflix has EVERY EPISODE OF EVERY STARGATE SHOW EVER CREATED available for streaming!!!!! My mind was blown, I immediately added them all (3 shows, 2 show themed movies) to our streaming queue, and I was inspired to begin blogging once again (I’m watching the pilot as I type).
Watch all of the following shows/movies before the end of 2011 (7/17-12/31):
Stargate SG-1 : 216 episodes Stargate – Continuum (SG-1 Movie)
Stargate Atlantis : 99 episodes Stargate – The Ark of Truth (SG-1 Movie)
Stargate Universe: 40 episodes
Yup, that’s right. I’m going to watch over 35o episodes and 2 full length movies. That’s around 15, 382 minutes (256 hours) in 153 days. That’s an average of 1.675 episodes a day. This doesn’t sound too bad until I think about the walls I’m no doubt going to hit throughout where I need a break. We’ll see!
- UPDATE -
Jessica has suggested that since I’m going to watching these on Netflix, I should include the Netflix description of each episode as I blog. At first I thought that was a great idea, it would help give any non-stargate nerd some background. Then I realized she was hoping for some ridiculous sounding summaries… Either way, I’ll be adding that into my posts.
